Plataformas Cloud Computing: análisis comparativo Google Drive y OneDrive.
Abstract
El presente trabajo ha sido realizado con el objetivo de evaluar la funcionalidad desde el punto de vista de los estudiantes las plataformas Google Drive y OneDrive, que son utilizadas en el dictado de las cátedras de Informática e Informática Aplicada. En este estudio descriptivo – comparativo en el cual intervinieron 64 estudiantes de la Carrera de Medicina de la Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo (www.espoch.edu.ec). El cuestionario se construyó utilizando la plataforma Google Drive, consta de 31 ítems y los datos informativos de cada estudiante, se utilizó el número de cédula como clave primaria. Los datos se procesaron utilizando el complemento EZAnalyze. El análisis estadístico de los datos determinó que los estudiantes prefieren utilizar la plataforma Google Drive para la gestión de la información. De la misma forma se determinó que existe una diferencia significativa entre el uso de la plataforma Google Drive y OneDrive con un valor de p=0,0000010. Se recomienda utilizar la plataforma Google Drive para la gestión de la información académica de los estudiantes.
