ESTUDIO DEL IMPACTO DEL HANDOVER EN REDES LTE.
Abstract
La última generación de sistemas móviles usa la tecnología de acceso radio de Evolución a Largo Plazo (LTE). Al igual que en las tecnologías precedentes, LTE debe realizar handover (HO) para asegurar la movilidad ininterrumpida. Este trabajo presenta un estudio del impacto del HO en redes LTE, considerando de forma exhaustiva el impacto de los parámetros que inciden en la decisión de HO. En correspondencia con trabajos recientes, la evaluación del desempeño se estima en métricas de la percepción de la calidad de la voz.
