A VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT FOR MONITORING DIGITAL TELEVISION SIGNAL
Keywords:

This paper describes the development of LabVIEW of a virtual instrument, intended to perform real-time analysis of the Digital TV signal measurements provided by a sensor. The instrument graphically displays real-time information about the signal level and signal-to-noise ratio. It also shows specific information of the DTMB modulation, such as the number of carriers, constellation, Frame Header, Forward Error Correction rate, and Time Domain interleaving. The virtual instrument generates a file with the received information, providing an easier identification of transmission problems and contributing to greater proactivity and efficiency in decisions making.
