Pentaho: software líder de Inteligencia de Negocio de código abierto.
Abstract
En una época de rápidos cambios económicos y tecnológicos, la ventaja competitiva entre las organizaciones puede estar marcada por aquella que sepa aprovechar mejor sus activos de información para tomar mejores decisiones de negocios a todos los niveles.
Las soluciones de inteligencia de negocio soportan la toma de mejores decisiones de negocios, sin embargo muchos proyectos de este tipo fracasan por sus costos elevados y la complejidad de las soluciones tradicionales.
El software profesional de código abierto se ha convertido en una alternativa factible, que permite entregar soluciones completas con tiempos y costos de implementación razonables. La Suite de inteligencia de negocio de código abierto Pentaho, proporciona una amplia gama de herramientas para crear y desplegar soluciones integrales de inteligencia de negocio. En este artículo se describen las características técnicas principales que hacen de la Suite Pentaho un software líder de inteligencia de negocio de código abierto.
