Abstract

El presente trabajo recoge la evolución y el empleo de la electrónica, las telecomunicaciones y la informática en la industria porcina. En el se valoran los aportes y beneficios que la Telemática ha significado para el desarrollo de la misma, así como las tendencias actuales de la industria porcina en la adopción de los grandes avances tecnológicos en el campo de la telemática. También se discute la evolución que estas tecnologías han tenido en el país y la situación actual de la porcicultura cubana respecto a la informatización de su industria.
