Protocolos de enrutamiento aplicables a redes MANET
Abstract
Las redes MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Networks) presentan características distintivas (movilidad y autonomía energética de los nodos, entre otras) que fuerzan una selección cuidadosa del protocolo de enrutamiento a emplear en ellas. Los protocolos de enrutamiento tienen como objetivo encontrar la mejor ruta para la comunicación entre dos nodos. Existe un gran número de protocolos de enrutamiento aplicables a redes MANET, cada uno de los cuales emplea determinadas métricas para la selección del trayecto óptimo. El presente artículo ofrece un breve estudio comparativo de estos protocolos según una serie de parámetros de interés, lo cual permitirá definir cuál de ellos se ajusta mejor a determinados escenarios.
