LTE vs. WiMAX
Abstract
Las tecnologías de comunicaciones móviles se han desarrollado rápidamente en los últimos años, debido al aumento de la demanda de servicios de Internet desde terminales móviles con una mejor calidad de los servicios ofrecidos. Para cumplir con esto, la industria de telecomunicaciones inalámbricas ha trabajado con el fin de mejorar la función global del sistema aumentando su capacidad, además de optimizar la eficiencia espectral y reducir la latencia. Las tecnologías WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) y LTE (Long Term Evolution), han emergido con la meta de proveer voz, datos, video y servicios multimedia en teléfonos móviles a altas velocidades y con un bajo costo.
