Abstract

 

Con la evolución vertiginosa de las tecnologías, surge una nueva generación denominada cuarta generación (4G), que tiene el objetivo de perfeccionar la eficacia y extender la capacidad del número de móviles en la misma célula y ofrecer velocidades de transmisión más elevadas que las generaciones anteriores y garantizar la movilidad a grandes velocidades, así como facilitar la interconexión y la interoperabilidad entre tecnologías. Este artículo se concentra en la evolución de la 3G a la 4G en las redes inalámbricas.
